Captain Byrde began his entertainment career as a street
performer on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. For a whole
decade, the Captain terrorized tourists from all over the world as
his birds, Lady Domonique, and Lord Reggae performed tricks and
posed for photos. In the late 1980's, event planners began booking
him for corporate events, fairs and festivals. The Captain is no
longer seen on Fisherman's Wharf, but his stint there was so
memorable that corporate planners now create backdrops for "Streets
of San Francisco" parties; in other words they bring the people and
the Wharf to the Captain.
In 1997, Captain Byrde created a web page which slowly
accumulated too many bells and whistles. He decided, for business
purposes, to simplify the page into what you are looking at now.
However, too much work went into his old page, and he just can't
